Ingredients

  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 ounces each)
  • 1 package little smokies sausages (14 ounces)
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • Preferred sauce for dipping such as mustard or ketchup

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to keep the treats from sticking.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough on a lightly floured surface. Separate the triangles along the perforations. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles.
  • Place one mini sausage at the wide end of each small triangle. Roll the dough over the sausage, wrapping it completely as you move toward the pointed end.
  • Brush the outside of each wrapped sausage lightly with the beaten egg. This will give a nice golden finish.
  • Arrange the wrapped sausages on the baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until they are puffed and golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce such as mustard or ketchup.
