The Super Bowl is upon us and you know what that means…it’s time to parrrrr-taaaay! If you’re anything like me, the only thing that gets you to a Super Bowl party is the commercials, the company, and the food. I couldn’t care less about watching the actual game.
Many football food or party snacks are breaded, fried, served in a bread bowl, or eaten in the form of a slider. What I’m trying to say is, football food is rarely keto friendly.
In turn, that can make partying with your friends a challenge when you’re brand new to your ketogenic lifestyle. Plus, no one wants to be the friend who the host says “I’m not sure what you can eat here”. I always cringe inside when someone says that to me.
My suggestion: always, always volunteer to bring a shareable dish. There are so many keto friendly foods that non-keto people would enjoy and not even realize it!
