Ingredients
  

  • 2 English cucumbers
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt plus more to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill or parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Thinly slice the cucumbers and red onion and place them in a large bowl.
