Cucumber Raita

Cool off a spicy meal with this creamy, classic side dip.

1 cup plain yogurt 1 medium English cucumber peeled if desired and grated 1/4 teaspoon salt plus more to taste 1/2 teaspoon roasted cumin powder

1/4 teaspoon ground coriander 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 garlic clove minced 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro

In a bowl, whisk the plain yogurt until smooth. Add the finely grated cucumber, salt, roasted cumin powder, coriander, ground black pepper, and garlic. Combine.
